Hermann holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Munich.
He started his career in a measurement company and joined Sesotec 20 years ago as a software developer. He has been responsible for the hardware and software development team for metal detectors since 2008 and for the X-Ray department as Director Development PI since July 2024.
His favorite topics are IoT, communication protocols and artificial intelligence.
Already in 2021, his team realized the world’s first metal detector with AI to improve detection performance and stability – Intuity with Think.
